Fibrosis is when you have hard lumps that develop & form under the skin after liposuction. It may look like indentations and unevenness in the skin. Fibrosis can also cause pain. Fibrosis develops due to inconsistency in post-op care and aggressive liposuction.

Treatment/Prevention
Fibrosis can be prevented by having lymphatic drainage massages performed by a licensed medical professional or aesthetician after surgery. Lymphatic Drainage Massages allow your body to drain all of the excess built up fluids that your body has accumulated after the liposuction surgery. Other machines for post-op care patients that help prevent fibrosis may include: cavitation, radiofrequency, ultrasound, carboxy therapy, to name a few.
